Mariano Zarzecki, MD

Mariano Zarzecki, MD is LatinaBA's Chief Executive Officer, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Zarzecki is responsible for LatinaBA's strategic direction and growth, as well as ensuring best quality practices across all operations. Prior to becoming CEO, he was Chief Operating Officer since joining LatinaBA in 2016. Before joining LatinaBA, Dr. Zarzecki held leading positions at global pharmaceutical companies and global CROs.

Dr. Zarzecki has worked across all phases of clinical research and in many different therapeutic areas. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Buenos Aires, holds a Pharmaceutical Medicine specialty from the Catholic University of Argentina, and a PM certification from the IEEC School in Argentina.

Cecilia Vidart

Cecilia Vidart, Agronomist, is LatinaBA's Chief Financial Officer, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She joined LatinaBA in June 2010 and has since been responsible for all administration and finance aspects of our projects. Prior to joining LatinaBA, Mrs. Vidart held different positions in agricultural companies and teaching positions at major schools in Argentina.

Mrs. Vidart earned her Agronomist degree and her Master's in Agricultural Economy from the University of Buenos Aires.

Joyce Marinho, RPharm

Joyce Marinho, RPharm, is LatinaBA's Country Manager for Brazil, based in Fortaleza, CE. She was one of the founding members of Medicamenta, a Brazilian CRO successfully integrated with LatinaBA in 2013, and is responsible for all LatinaBA operations in Brazil. Prior to joining LatinaBA, Mrs. Marinho worked in different positions at two major global pharmaceutical companies and a global CRO.

Mrs. Marinho has worked across all phases of clinical research in Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Infectious Disease, Inflammatory Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Neuroendocrinology, Oncology, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, and Rheumatology. Mrs. Marinho is currently pursuing her MBA at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Alejandro Bisquertt Zavala

Alejandro Bisquertt is a biochemist and life-sciences executive with 10+ years in diagnostics, clinical research, and applied data science. He advises LatinaBA on country-level operations in Chile, and previously co-founded Neurognos, developing miRNA biomarker panels for neurodegenerative disease, and Tested DX, a clinical laboratory that reached 2,000 samples per day during the COVID-19 pandemic. He trained at UC San Diego and holds an M.S. from Johns Hopkins University.

Jenny Paredes

Jenny Paredes is LatinaBA's Country Manager for Mexico, bringing three decades of experience in pharmaceutical and clinical research. She began her career in 1997 and advanced through roles including Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Operations Manager, and Clinical Monitoring Leadership, contributing to Phase I–IV trials across therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiology, CNS, endocrinology, and rare diseases.

Jenny is recognized for her regulatory expertise across Latin America, particularly Mexico's COFEPRIS framework, and holds a Master's degree in Psychology. She is also a professor with the UC San Diego Extension program, teaching the fundamentals of clinical research.
