Mariano Zarzecki, MD
Mariano Zarzecki, MD is LatinaBA Chief Executive Officer, based in Buenos Aires Argentina. Dr Zarzecki is responsible for LatinaBA strategic direction and growth as well to ensure best quality practices in all its operations. Prior to becoming LatinaBA CEO he was its Chief Operating Officer since he joined LatinaBA in 2016. Prior to joining LatinaBA, Dr Zarzecki was in leading positions in Global Pharma and Global CROs.
Dr Zarzecki worked in all phases of Clinical Research in the many different therapeutic areas. Dr Zarzecki received his Medical Degree at the University of Buenos Aires, he holds a Pharmaceutical Medicine specialty from the Catholic University from Argentina and a PM certification from the IEEC School in Argentina.
Chief Operation Officer
Federico Ezequiel Lerner, M.D., Ph.D.
Federico Ezequiel Lerner, M.D., Ph.D. is Chief Operating Officer, based in Argentina. He joined LAtinaBA in Feb 2020. Dr. Lerner is responsible for the successful management of all LAtinaBA operations. Prior to joining LatinaBA, Dr. Lerner was Regional Head for four mayors Global CROs. He was co-investigator for Cartesius Analytical Unit and Miguel Servet Clinical Pharmacology Unit in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He had several teaching positions at major universities in Argentina and Brazil and published several papers in both basic and clinical research fields
Dr. Lerner was responsible to lead many different clinical research groups for first time to man to a large global registry trials, his experience includes, but not limited to anti-inflammatory, anti-infective, rare and neglected diseases, rheumatology, dermatology, pulmonology, psychiatry, neurology, pediatrics, hematology, oncology, metabolism, reproduction, vaccines, cardiovascular, nutrition, etc.
Dr. Lerner is currently Chairman of the Argentinean Congress of Clinical Research, member of the American Colleague of Clinical Pharmacology, Drug Information Association, American Society of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Argentina Medical Association. Lerner has his medical degree from Buenos Aires University. He was a doctoral research fellow at Campinas State University in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Cecilia Vidart, Agronomist
Cecilia Vidart, Agronomist, is LatinaBA Chief Financial Officer, based Buenos Aires, Argentina, she joined LatinaBa in Jun 2010 and since then is responsible for all administration and finance aspect of our projects. Prior to joining LatinaBA, Mrs. Vidart assume different positions in Agricultural companies and different teaching positions in mayor schools in Argentina.
Mrs Vidal get her Agronomist degree and her Master in Agricultural Economy in the Buenos Aires University.
Joyce Marinhos, RPharm,
Joyce Marinhos, RPharm, is Brazil Country Manager, based in Fortaleza, CE, she was one of the founding members of Medicamenta, a Brazilian CRO that was successfully integrated with LatinaBA in 2013. Mrs. Marinhos is responsible for all LatinaBA operations in Brazil. Prior to joining LatinaBA, Mrs. Marinhos has worked in different positions at two mayor global Pharmaceutical companies and a global CRO.
Mrs Marinhos worked in all phases of Clinical Research in the following therapeutic areas: Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Infectious Disease, Inflammatory Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Neuroendocrinology, Oncology, Psychiatry, Pulmonology and Rheumatology.
Mrs Marinhos is pursuing her MBA at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Eugenio Silva Meneses

Eugenio Silva, RPharm, is Chile Country Manager, based in Santiago de Chile, he joined LAtinaBA in 2009. Mr. Silva is responsible for the successful management of all LAtinaBA operations in Chile. Prior to joining LatinaBA, Mr. Silva was CRA/Sr CRA for three mayor CROs and two global Pharmaceutical companies.
Mr Silva has managed sites in Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Ecuador, Mexico, Perú and Venezuela in Phase II and III, his experience includes Cardiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Vascular Surgery, allergy/immunology, Infectious Disease, Oncology, Pulmonology and Endocrinology.
Mr Silva is an Associated Instructor for Diplomat of Clinical Research Monitoring sponsored by Microbiology and Mycology Program of Universidad de Chile, Faculty of Medicine.
